President The job of the President is to set the direction of the society for the year and to ensure its smooth and orderly running. This mainly involves delegating tasks to the appropriate board members and making decisions on how to run aspects of the society, as well as organising board meetings to discuss issues and the running of the society throughout the year. You're also there to support the rest of the board and help out whenever needed. This role also requires a lot of social interaction with the membership, keeping them notified about events within the society, making speeches, sending the weekly society email etc. It also involves generally making sure people are enjoying and feel welcome in the society.

You should keep a list of all the society members to present it at the end of the term. You are also responsible for taking the minutes at any board meetings, and making these available for later use.

You will have meetings with your team to plan your routines for the semester and the class structure, outlining what you want to be taught in classes each week. You will have the responsibility of communicating with any teachers we work with throughout the year. You will be the person that your members can approach with questions about routines, music, and classes but you will also have the support of your team in answering these.

You are also the societies point of contact for the Inter varsity dance association, the association organising university dance sport in the UK.
Vice Team Captain The position of Vice Team-Captain is a new position within the society. Given the growth of our competition team it has become necessary for someone to support the work of the Team Captain and this would be your job. This will involve helping manage preparations for the team for competition and at competitions stepping in for the Team Captain should they be otherwise engaged.
